While our products meet stringent quality standards, it's essential to be aware that not all products listed on our website may include a specific import warning as outlined by California law. Rental Refund & Cancellations Policy: 

​

At CND Express Scooters, we want to ensure that you have a clear understanding of our Rental Cancellation and Refund Policy, which includes information about our Rental Assurance Protection Plan (RAPP).

​

Rental Assurance Protection Plan (RAPP):

  • RAPP, or the Rental Assurance Protection Plan, is an optional add-on that can be purchased when you book your rental equipment.

  • RAPP is designed to provide added protection and flexibility in the event of cancellations or service issues.

​

RAPP Purchase Options:

  • You can purchase RAPP at the time of booking your rental.

  • If initially declined, RAPP can still be added within 24 hours of booking, provided the rental delivery date is more than 30 days away.

  • RAPP must be added for every rental item you wish to protect with this plan.

  • The cost of RAPP is $10 per rental item.

Important Points About RAPP:

  • The RAPP fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, whether you use it or not.

  • If RAPP is not accepted and added to your rental, the entire order becomes non-refundable, and no compensation or refund is available if the rental is shortened on or after the delivery date.

​

Cancellation Policy with RAPP

7 Days or More Notice Before Scheduled Delivery Date:

  • If you provide seven (7) or more days' notice before the scheduled delivery date, you may cancel and receive a partial refund on the order.

  • CND will hold a $25 cancellation fee for motorized equipment and a $15 cancellation fee for all non-motorized equipment per item. Additionally, there is a $10 RAPP fee for each item. This applies to full or partial cancellations.

 

Less Than 7 Days Notice Before Scheduled Delivery Date:

  • If you provide less than seven (7) days' notice but cancel before the scheduled delivery date, you may still receive a partial refund on the order.

  • CND will hold a $45 cancellation fee for motorized equipment and a $20 cancellation fee for non-motorized equipment per item. Additionally, there is a $10 RAPP fee for each item that is canceled. This applies to full or partial cancellations.

Cancellation on or After the Scheduled Delivery Date:

  • Any cancellation on or after the scheduled delivery date is non-refundable.

  • Rentals not available for pick-up on the scheduled day will be considered used unless CND is notified in advance, and additional charges will incur.

Cancellation Policy Without RAPP

7 Days or More Notice Before Scheduled Delivery Date:

  • If you provide seven (7) or more days' notice before the scheduled delivery date and have not purchased RAPP, you may cancel and receive a partial credit for a future rental.

  • CND will hold a $45 cancellation fee for motorized equipment and a $20 cancellation fee for non-motorized equipment per item. This applies to full or partial cancellations.

​

Less Than 7 Days Notice Before Scheduled Delivery Date:

  • If you provide less than seven (7) days' notice before the scheduled delivery date and have not purchased RAPP, you may still cancel and receive a partial credit on the order.

  • CND will hold a $100 cancellation fee for motorized equipment and a $50 cancellation fee for non-motorized equipment per item. This applies to full or partial cancellations.

Cancellation on or After the Delivery Date:

  • Any cancellation on or after the delivery date is strictly non-refundable.

​

Other Cancellations with or without RAPP:

  • In the event of a natural disaster or reasons beyond our control preventing equipment delivery: a. If RAPP has been purchased, the Customer will be refunded the entire amount, minus the $10 RAPP fee per rental item. If RAPP has not been purchased, the Customer will receive a full credit on file (not a refund), minus a $10 administration fee per rental item.

Shortened Rental:

  • The Customer may "shorten" any rental prior to the day of delivery if the equipment has not been delivered, without penalty.

  • If RAPP has been purchased, the rental may be shortened after delivery, subject to the charge of the minimal rental period in that area. There is a $20 shortened rental fee deducted from any refund. The Customer must notify CND at our local number, not the delivery driver.  Rentals shortened the day before pickup are non-refundable.

  • If the Customer has declined RAPP once the rental has been delivered, there is no compensation for shortened rentals.

Rental Equipment Protection Shield (REPS)

​

REPS is a comprehensive equipment protection plan designed to safeguard our valued customers from financial responsibility for any unexpected damage, loss, or theft of rental equipment during their rental period. At CND Express Scooters, we offer two levels of REPS: Basic and Plus, allowing you to choose the coverage that best suits your needs.

​

REPS Basic:

  • Non-Motorized Rental Equipment: $2.00 per day, per rental item.

  • Motorized Rental Equipment: $5.00 per day, per rental item.

​

REPS Basic covers damages to the equipment, excluding keys, chargers, baskets, cup holders, battery packs, canopies, and other accessories. In the event of damage, customers are responsible for a $50 deductible on non-motorized and $250 deductible on motorized equipment, or the actual replacement/repair cost. Deductibles are charged immediately after the rental to the credit card used for the transaction. REPS Basic does not cover loss or theft of the equipment.

REPS Plus:

  • Non-Motorized Rental Equipment: $4.00 per day, per rental item.

  • Motorized Rental Equipment: $10.00 per day, per rental item.

​

REPS Plus provides coverage for damages to the equipment (excluding accessories as mentioned in REPS Basic) and includes protection against loss or theft of the equipment. In case of damage, the deductible is $50 on non-motorized and $250 on motorized equipment, or the actual replacement/repair cost. The deductible is charged immediately after the rental. If theft occurs, the customer must file a police report and provide a copy or claim number to CND within 48 hours. Theft claims have a $100 deductible for non-motorized equipment and $500 for motorized equipment, or the full replacement cost.

Declining REPS: If a customer declines REPS, they acknowledge that they are solely responsible for promptly reporting any damage, loss, or theft of the rental equipment. Customers will assume all repair or replacement costs, whether resulting from misuse, accidents, or other reasons. Declining REPS makes the customer responsible for any repair costs outside of normal wear and tear, including accessories like keys, chargers, baskets, canopies, cup holders, and spare battery packs.

Replacement costs for lost or damaged rental items without REPS:

  • Transportable Scooters: $800

  • Standard Scooters: $1,200

  • Standard Manual Wheelchairs: $100

  • Heavy-Duty Wheelchairs: $200

  • Front Baskets: $50

  • Cup Holders: $20

  • Keys: $15

  • Rear Baskets: $75

  • Battery Packs: $200

  • Chargers: $100

  • Canopies: $100

  • Cane Holders: $30

CND will charge the repair/replacement costs, as per the REPS guidelines, to the credit card associated with the rental upon completion of the rental period.

Sales Refund & Cancellations Policy: 

​

At CND Express Scooters, we value your satisfaction and aim to provide you with a hassle-free shopping experience. Please take a moment to read our Sales Refund Policy carefully to understand the terms and conditions that govern returns and refunds for our products.

​

Refund Eligibility:

  • To be eligible for a refund, all returned equipment must be in new, unused condition.

  • We strongly encourage you to inspect your product upon delivery. If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please refuse delivery.

  • If your item was delivered without a signature and is found to be damaged or incorrect, please contact CND Express Scooters Customer Service immediately for assistance.

Post-Delivery Refund Conditions:

  • Once delivery has been accepted, the following conditions apply:

    • All items returned are subject to a Restocking Fee of $75.

    • Customers are responsible for covering the cost of return shipping, and the product must be returned in its original packaging.

    • The item must be in new, unused condition. This includes ensuring that there are no cracks, scratches, dirty tires, pet hair, or other household dirt. Additionally, please check for wear to seats and armrests, damage to charging ports, scratches to the frame, or scratches on remotes.

    • All accessories and chargers that were included in the product's original box must be returned. For example, chargers, baskets, and additional colored shrouds. Accessories that were purchased separately and not included in the original box do not need to be returned as part of a power chair return.

Non-Refundable Fees:

  • Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable.

Standard Shipping Policy

​

Processing Time: Products will be shipped within two business days after your payment has been processed.

Delivery Time: Our standard shipping typically takes between 5-7 business days from the date of shipment. Please note that delivery times may vary based on your location and the specific product ordered.

Additional Information:

  • It's essential to inspect your product upon delivery. If there are any issues with your order, or if the product is damaged or incorrect, please notify us immediately by contacting our Customer Service team.

​

Items on Backorder:

At CND Express Scooters, we understand that you may choose to purchase items that are currently on backorder.

 

When you place an order for a backordered item, please keep the following in mind:

  • Some items may list an expected shipping date; however, this date is an estimate, and delivery could take longer based on manufacturer availability.

  • Orders for backordered items will only be fulfilled once we receive notification from the manufacturer that the product is back in stock.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while waiting for backordered items to become available.

Please note that no refunds will be issued for backorder items that take longer than 30 days to ship.

Arbitration Clause: Dispute Resolution

​

CND Express Scooters values its customers and is committed to resolving disputes and complaints amicably and efficiently. In the event of any dispute, including but not limited to issues related to refunds or compensation for services, we encourage customers to first contact our customer support team to seek a resolution.

Arbitration Process:

If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication with our customer support team, both parties agree to seek resolution through arbitration. Arbitration is a fair and impartial process for resolving disputes, and it is a faster and less formal alternative to litigation in a court of law.

​

Arbitration Agreement:

By using the services provided by CND Express Scooters, you agree to resolve any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or related to your use of our services through binding arbitration. This includes disputes related to refunds, compensation, or any other matters arising from your interactions with CND Express Scooters.

Arbitration Procedure:

  • Arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the rules of a recognized arbitration organization.

  • The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

  • Each party shall be responsible for their own arbitration fees and costs, unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator.

Opting Out:

If you do not wish to be bound by this arbitration agreement, you have the option to opt out within 30 days of your first use of our services. To exercise this option, please contact us in writing at info@cndscooters.com with your name, contact information, and a clear statement of your intent to opt out of this arbitration agreement.

By continuing to use CND Express Scooters' services after the 30-day period, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by this arbitration clause.
