About the Journey Zoomer Wheelchair
The Journey Zoomer Chair is an exceptionally lightweight power wheelchair that is designed for travel. The wheelchair weighs only 46.5 pounds with the batteries removed (52 pounds with batteries attached) and can be either folded or disassembled with ease. To fold the Journey Zoomer, simply pull the release cable and the chair will fold up to a width of just 12.5 inches. If necessary, the electric wheelchair can also be separated into two separate pieces thanks to its quick-release frame.
 
Planning to take your chair on vacation? The Journey Zoomer Chair is FAA-compliant for air travel – you simply need to remove the battery from the wheelchair prior to boarding and take it in your carry-on. The chair itself will be stored in the cargo hold like typical luggage.
The Journey Zoomer Wheelchair also has some impressive performance specs for a transportable travel wheelchair, including a 35.5” turning radius, 3.7 mile per hour max speed, and a driving range of up to 8 miles per charge. It also provides excellent comfort for the user and comes standard with a seat cushion and vented fabric seat.

Zoomer Chair Features
Portability: The Journey Zoomer Chair can fold up to a width of 12.5” in less than a second by pulling the release cable. Easy to wheel around once folded. The chair can also be disassembled into two separate pieces (seat frame and rear section) for improved portability. Fits comfortably in the trunk of a car or taxi.
Lightweight Design: This mobility chair weighs only 46.5 pounds with the battery removed (52 pounds with battery attached). When disassembled, the heaviest piece weighs less than 27 pounds, allowing it to easily be lifted into a vehicle for transport or storage.
Performance: Maximum speed of 3.7 miles per hour and 8-mile drive range on a single charge. Zoomer Chair has 5 settings that allow you to adjust speed to your preferred level.
Controls: One-handed joystick control is easy to use and can be positioned on either righthand or lefthand side of the electric wheelchair.
Maneuverability: 35.5” turning radius allows you to maneuver in tight indoor spaces. Zoomer Chair is only 25.5” wide and can comfortably travel through most doorways. Chair can be used both indoors and outdoors, including on grass and dirt.
Comfortable Seating: Vented and breathable fabric seat helps you keep cool on hot days. Comes standard with seat cushion (additional cushion options available for added support if required). Max weight capacity of 275 pounds.
Batteries: Electric wheelchair is powered by a 24 V, 8.76 Ah lithium-ion battery and dual brushless DC motor. Battery charges in approximately 4.5 hours.
Safety: Zoomer Chair comes with rear anti-tip wheels and electromagnetic brakes for automatic stopping. Max climbing angle of 12°. Flat-free solid tires.
